In Reply to: The end of the Flip disc? And with it the end of DVD-A ? posted by patrickU on April 07, 2004 at 08:45:31:
your post would probably be deleted or you would be flamed by the SACD faithful. As it is, the moderator probably agrees with you and thus sees nothing wrong with your post. In fact it was fine up till your comment on the "death of DVD-A". Fortunately, here on the Audiobahn, we are not as dogmatic, to each his own and opinions and comments are allowed from all.

so I'm going to delete all of your posts when I get around to it.At least try and be somewhat factual when make assertions.
I don't delete ANTI SACD posts on HiRez. Get off of your lazy ass and search the archives. There are hundreds and hundreds of them there. Just ask Frank, ZS and NonA.
Geeze, you're a parrot and a dumb one at that.
I may say that good that you are not a moderator here!
Agree with me? About what?
You seem to confound information with " flamme ".
Who is " we "? I am " we " too.
As for the word " death or " end " just the same.

he is just commenting that there is more tolerance and freedom here, than at the SACD board. As is obvious. 1 full day and 500 people there discussing whether my question was MORE than a mere question. It was just a question, nothing more. Chris underdtands that now. So enjoy the tolerance. And express the need for more of it, there.
there has been plenty of discussion and comment about how posts that are "negative" towards SACD will be handled. If you had said this on the hi-way, Chris has made it clear that it would probably be deleted or assigned to whiners road. Course here he doesn't even bother to moderate but merely piles on when he feels like it. You should forget about posting negative on DVD-A and go visit the hiway. They like to live with their heads in the sand vis a vis their little "club"
I think you totally missed Chris point, he was not condenning a post but what he saw as an attitude.
But that is past and some have rejoined the rank, so to speak.
That is past.
