Have had these for over 20 years. Nothing I have heard does

midrange-human voice or piano like these. I have them in a bookcase

canted in towards the listener. They image better than any small

speaker I've tried. They are driven by a 50x2 Bryston 2B with

DH Labs silver plated speaker cable. The wires added extra definition

and depth in the lower ranges. Yes - not a lot of bass below 80hz

but what you get is pure. The source material better be "on the money"

- if it's poor in - it's horrendous out !...Vinyl is still my chosen

venue -through a Yamaha C2a preamp and Rega Planar 3 with RB 300 arm

and Sumiko Blue Point Hi Output moving coil. Hard to say if they're

worth 600-900 on the used market. Mine were 500 new. Probably new technology might be superior these days. Still the classic mini monitor

that is the standard. Nothing fancy- just pure good music from good source material.. in these little boxes.

Product Weakness: 15 ohms- a little hard to drive.
Product Strengths: midrange clarity ; rubber surrounds on Kef drivers
