I think it happened about three weeks after I got my speakers. By then I've already read all the superlative reviews about the Totem One loudspeaker. Imaging, air, transparency and mid bass humps. I wasn't getting anything. I knew my speakers were broken in because I bought them one year used. I didn't even have a mid bass hump. Everything sounded muffled. I was getting close to returning my speakers until I read about the speaker stand tweak. So I got myself the Target St-70's because they matched my Totems and was discounted 150%. I followed the set-up and picked my speaker up off the floor and placed them on the "speaker stand". Wow I was impressed, I finally had my beloved mid-bass hump. This tweak worked alot better than that $1.89 tweak I tried earlier.
