The Cambridge Audio CD6 offers up a tremendous performance/price ratio. Very few players do the things that this $800.00cdn player can do. Solid bottom end, loads of detail, and an exiting midrange. Treble response is defined and accurate. The depth of this player rivals many more pricier units which is the reason I purchased it.
I have had the unit for a year and a half and it has been perfect(knock on wood). The unit is solidly constructed using,I believe, a very well made Teac Transport. The Dac Magic can be added to add even more depth and soundstage to this already fine player.
