Hi John,
Is there a major improvement to the Parasound HCA-1000A vs. Parasound HCA-1000 that I should upgrade the power supply caps, etc. in my HCA-1000? An employee at Parasound told me that he could not hear any difference between the two models. What improvement to the sound/performance am I missing with my HCA-1000? Perhaps the critical Stereophile review of the HCA-1000 small value power supply caps contributed to the updated version?
