I have a newbie question: Can someone tell me the difference between a 12AX7 and a 12BH7? Are the two interchangeable? Why are the 12BH7's so limited in supply? (My application is in my Quicksilver Silver 90 mono amps). Also, I'd like to learn more in general about tube audio; is there a good book for beginners that doesn't get too technical or boring, but gives a thorough and intelligent coverage? You know, "Tube Audio for Dummies"?!
