Hello.
I'm in the search for a preamp. Until now, I've had the CD going straight through my Sun 300BE without a preamp, but my wife wants to be able to listen to the tuner and I'm trying to make a (somewhat tentative) move into vinyl. Thus, I'm looking at a preamp. Liking the "Sun Sound", I'm naturally inclined towards their preamps (thinking that they'll sound similar, is this a bad assumption?), but searching the archives and online, I haven't been able to find out too much about them. Is anyone familiar with the Sun preamp line? I'm thinking of the SVC-200 because it's the cheapest, but if anyone can make a good case for SVC-500, I'm listening.
Anyway, I hope someone can help me out.
