I forgot to add a few points of interest. When I got this Space-Tech in the mail I also had on hand an Audio Research SP9 mkII with some upgraded caps and a Morrison ELAD line stage which everyone raves about so much at audioreview. I was the owner of all the preamps. As soon as I hooked up the Space-Tech I put the Morrison and the ARC up for sale the SAME DAY. No contest. So this little guy has really held up against a wide variety of players.As I said in my original post: I had brought this Space-Tech along for fun while auditioning some major players like the arc LS25 and Ref2 and was ready to buy a preamp of that caliber. But it didn't make any sense when hearing the MINOR differences between the Space-Tech and the arc LS25mkI so I went home with a brand new subwoofer instead. - in other words, i was ready to spend the money...but not foolishly. I will upgrade to one of the Space-Tech's higher models soon, though.
