I have seen reviews of the Venza and I am not a fan - the only cool thing about it is the panoramic roof where you can push a button and "frost it" which is a pretty cool feature but it's one of those things that after a month you'll probably not give a rat's ass about. I like Toyota and Honda because they use buttons and switches for things - the Venza put it all on the touch screen - which sucks when you are actually driving. With a switch you just reach over and push and you don't take your eyes off the road - bullshit screens have you take your eyes off the road to hunt and peck. No thanks. That's where the Venza stinks it up.
Now to be fair about the models you see on a lot - there are always going to be more lower-priced models on a lot than higher-priced ones because there are more poorer people than richer people. The RAV4 starts a whopping $11,000 cheaper and has more powertrain options and has been around longer with a longer established nameplate.
And if people like me who like buttons won't care for the Venza. I think it's a mistake vehicle - young people may love touch screens but young people, generally, make less money and Toyota isn't as good as Tesla on the tech - the Venza isn't far off an entry Tesla in terms of money. And then there is Lexus. It's kind of dopey vehicle - but I suppose it looks better and it appears quieter and more refined than RAV4 blah blah blah so some people may prize that stuff.
The Crown line looks better to me inside and out.
