A larger vehicle makes a lot of sense as does a sedan/station wagon crossover.Re. the new Toyota Crown, my comments:
I like the greater height; makes getting in and out easier. My daughter-in-law drives a Mercedes C300: it's crazy low and makes ingress/egress unpleasant for an old guy like me. I like that the wheels/tires are less oversized that typical for SUVs. Large tires are more expensive plus they make for a rougher ride and sometimes poorer handling than sedan-size tires. I hate the two-tone paint scheme which fortunately is only in the 'Platinum' trim level I'm not impressed there isn't a fully electric version. IMHO hybrid is basically a compromise though better that solely ICE. In 2-3 years when I next buy a car it'll be a pure EV.
