RE: Toyota replaces the Avalon with a new Sedan - sort of

When I bought my Audi (CPO) it was great. Really low/no pressure, they had marked it down so much already there was really "no haggle". I tried a bit, but it was a great car and a great deal and I really wanted it, so I took it. I knew it wasn't going to be there long, a similar one (not as loaded) sold the day before I bought mine.

Prior to that we bought our Acura through our credit unions car buying program. Told them what we wanted, they found it (it was very rare at the time), price was a few hundred over invoice and all we had to do was go pick it up. Before that I visited lots of dealers, most ok, until it came time to "negotiate" then they all turned into a$$ holes. I walked every single time that B.S. started and many came running out to keep me from leaving. Didn't care, don't want your car that badly. One of those was when I was looking at a Rav 4, really liked it, but man the pushiest sales people I've ever encountered!

Who knows what's next. We'll need a car for daughter no. 1 soon, we'll probably go the CU route again. I don't think another deal like the Audi will drop in my lap any time soon.
