I've been lucky so far, I turned 61 the other week, but even with sciatica bugging me, my roadbike set up hasn't needed to change yet - If anything, more drop is good for my back - or seems to be.
My cross bike has a lot less drop, but that's more for steep descent and dirt track manoueverability than anything alse.
Just keep stretching and keep riding - doesn't really matter what the set up looks like, so long as it works!
