I ran across this on a fb page; entirely carved from a single block of Philippine Acacia wood:

*his reply to the question whether or not it'll crack with change of seasons:
wood tend to move especially along the joints, thats why i toyed on this idea of no joint. hope it wont move :) i made several before and so far no problem. tropical wood are more sturdy. i made sure its old though. quite lighter compared to new ones
