I don't think Wolverines were very comon in consols. Since you say that it is a little rough, I suspect your consol was homebuilt. Wolverens were very comon in homebuilt systems. They were and still are a good choice! If you just wan't to test the drivers, I would bypass the pots. If the caps are oil, they are probably still good (if they look good). If they are electrolytic, it would be prudent to replace them before testing. EV plans for Wolverine drivers are on the web. Do a search on the Hig Efficencey Asylum.

Consols are generally worthless but Wolverine drivers are very good. If it were me, I'd loose the Type A but some people like them.
