Man, those were the days. Everything was available everywhere.
Everyone lucked out at the hamfests and antique radio shows, back then. KT66s and EL34s were not $100. each, for real UK items. 2A3s wre $25 in the '80s and '90s !
Trading was rampant at those shows, value for value. We had listening sessions, there. The action was quick. The earlybirds got the worms.
But, that was then. This is now. Wherever anyone on this website lives, it will be worth your while to come to Kutztown, PA May 11-12, for the DVHRC Antique Radio Show at the Renningers Pavillion #2.
More and more hifi shows up. Tubes, records, jukes, speakers, turntables, amps, even phono cartridges and needles. Last year's fall event had WE gear, McIntosh, Knight, Eico, Dynaco, Fisher, ElectroVoice Circlotron amps, and so much more...Did I forget to mention the fantastic Friday night dinner and hifi listening get together ?
Don't miss this HAPPENING !!!
