When the shelves get filled up, add more shelves. Build more rooms to accommodate your collection. The laundry room always has room for more shelves, right ?
One of my friends bathrooms is truly his reading room. He must have 500 magazines on hifi in there. Can you imagine the rest of his house ? Huge speakers make excellent room dividers, and shelf stands, not to mention great places to store amps on top.
Many years ago, I used to restore amps on my dining room table. My loving wife made me put a u-build-it workbench in our bedroom ! We've since moved to larger quarters, simply to accommodate my obsession with classic hifi gear.
