Re: KLH 32: crossover upgrade?

I did this very job a few months ago. Got a pair of KLH 32s at a thrift shop for 8 bucks. The bass was good but the treble sounded harsh & tinny.

All I did was replace the crossover caps with very cheap PartsExpress non-polarized 4uf caps, and the difference in sound was amazing. The treble on those speakers became very clear and sweet, with amazing imaging. They're nice speakers.

I would suggest replacing the corssover caps before you do anything else. Restored to stock, these became some of my favorite vintage speakers. Enjoy!
