I just recently bought a Teac X-300R on Ebay for less than $190 and it makes excellent quality recordings. Teac/Tascam made other X models with the larger reels amd more heads like the X-7, X-10, X-1000 etc. I'd keep an eye on whats available on Ebay for some great buys.
