I'd want to listen to one against the Kloss thingie. Digital read out tuner? Hmmmm!?

Friends of ours have a Kloss one in Melbourne, with an analogue tuner and it is just ACE. Almost' tubey even. BTA that's FM in mono for ya.

Does the MH have a stereo line-out option, and can it be adapted up to stereo like the kloss's can?

You will meed at least a proper dipole or rabbit-ears antenna for the FM stage. Minimum.
