I have dealt extensively with Mike and would strongly advise that you stipulate in writing specifically what you want done and ask for an estimate first. I also suggest that you request a complete written account of the work done with measurements both before and after. He is no doubt quite competent and has the proper test equipment. I made the mistake however of not specifically asking that all tubes be tested first and subsequently wasted the alignment on my Sherwood S-2200 when I found out later that several tubes were weak and a diode was bad in the MPX adapter. Had to do it all over again!
