I would try before you buy, or have 100% refund capability.
HD transmit power is 1/100th of analog FM power. This is by spec.
Some of the new HD receivers had "sensitivity" problems. Good news, they revert back to analog mode when they lose the HD signal. I personally would not be the first to buy one.
