Fisher MPX-100 problem

Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

Any techs out there? I have a Fisher MPX-100 where the stereo indicator lights up but the unit stays in mono. All tubes check good and the relay contacts have been cleaned. I heard that this is a problem with these units. Any idea?
