I have never heard the accuphase but I would consider listening
to any of the triode tuners from the md 102t and up.The addition of
tubes is not to be underestimated.I just had my md 102 upgraded to an
md 106t and it is a stellar improvement.Make sure you listen through
the balanced outputs.Although I have no first hand experience with
other tuners of this calibre(except a marantz 10b) I am confident that these triode series are about as good as it gets.Magnum no longer makes the md 108 and many have said the md106t is the equal
