This is a global forum, no?Well market power - usually held (and misused) by the seller aka corporations - isn't the ONLY influence on FM and quality world-wide.
Some of us in other corners of the woild are happy to have publicly-funded FM radio, of high quality, or even local community stations of from excellent to 'still good' quality.
Depends on how willing y'all are to be dumbed down I s'pose.
