Thanks cdb. BTW I browsed the Richardson Electronics website and found three different types of 6922s they are selling. Although they do not have photos of these tubes on their site (hmmmm...) they list a "6922/E88C-BB" that is shown as sourced from Russia. Care to take a guess what the "BB" stands for? Richardson also shows a "6922/E88C-AM" as sourced from USA. "AM" meaning Amperex? Again, no photos are available, so there's no way of seeing if the tubes look like they were built by the old Amperex plant in New York where most of the Amperex frame grid tubes (6922 and 6DJ8) were manufactured. Lots of other interesting tubes on Richardson's site, like 5751s and, lo and behold, "BB" 6550 beam power tubes. That should be hot seller in today's market- makes it seen strange that Richardson doesn't more actively market their wares to the audio crowd.
