I am considering sending my MR74 to McIntosh for alignment and parts (at least capacitors) updates. McIntosh quoted $65/hour for labor plus parts and shipping. I wonder if anyone has done similar service at McIntosh and what will be the total bill? Will other service shops listed in fmtunerino.com be better choice?
