My main rig is in my daylight basement. FM reception is a problem. I've tried all kinds of indoor antenna. Probably eight or ten different setups. I've even hung yaggi's from the ceiling.Without doubt, the best antenna for my situation is a Bic Beam Box. Any model. I've used the Bic FM-6 and the FM-8. Both work exceptionally well. They are easy to use too. Get them up as high as you can.
Second best option in my system is rabbit ears. The models with tuning knobs seem to work best for me. I've never noticed ANY difference between the amplified and non amplified versions.
I'm lucky. If I hadnt stumbled upon the Bic's, I'd have probably gone for the much more expensive solution of a rooftop antenna.
Let us know how things turn out?
