I have quitea few nice tuners, mostly tubes, but all of them suffer from poor reception. I just sent one of them, Cition III for tuning and it was said to be working normally..
My window may be facing reverse direction to the local FM station. I need help in setting up a simple FM antenna... could I 1. just hang a T shape wire, with both ends of the top --- wire connected to the insulator, then one wire coming down to the anteena input, or 2. use one wire for the left hand side of the top ---, then another for the right hand side, both has a wire going into the antenna input and the earth. Should the lenth of the top --- be 1/2 or 1/4 or 1/8 of the wave length of let say between 88MHZ to 108 MHZ??tks and best rgds
