As I mentioned I have a few UPS's that are being replaced. I might be able to grab the batteries. Basically a string of 48 gell cells in series for 480VDC. Not sure of the amp rating but average old time car battery size.So, ever run an amp off pure DC? Are the sonics worth the risk of having that many batteries sitting in your house? I have to admit the idea kinda scares me. Jeez could you imagine what would happen if something fell on them and created a dead short!!!
