Re: Best scope for audio hobby use?

I used Tektronix 900 series scopes (mostly T921, T932) for a few years at a radio communications manufacturer - also I was their "test equipment repair service" for a while... I have bought four of them in the past few years:

T922 - $40 from eBay (delivered) with probes, works great.
T922 - $25 from local recycler, works, but doesn't trigger.
T912 - $35 from same, trace storage is too dim to use, works otherwise
T922R - $1, but dead (no trace) and a few knobs broken off.

Flimsy plastic construction, but Tektronix inside... needs a deep bench as they're pretty long (except the R - rackmount - version)

I'm looking for a junker T900 now, as I dropped one - case is smashed, but it still works fine...
