anyone can help? i have built a preamp using tube 5687 with output tansformer.the impedance is 10k/600R. 4:1 ratio.the sound is very lack of bass.i operate the tube with 140v and 16ma on plate, about 4v on grid.should i turn the secondary connection? now i'm connect tap on secondary which is on primary tap to b+.secondary to out put, primary to anode, secondary to ground, the bass is like out of phase, very lack.i also have a little bit hum in this preamp.
thanks before

- Is it parafeed or are you running current through the primary to the anode?nt - grhughes 08:06:34 09/28/06 (2)
