thanks Tre'. I just saw your response. So a 0.5mf capacitor.The only thing is that this is a separate phono stage, not connected to a preamp. And when the 1.5mf coupling caps are not connected with the 47kohm resistor, there is no output from the phono-preamp at all. I'm not sure if this makes a difference to what you were saying or not.
