Have you seen the moderators stomp on anyone here or over at Prop Heads? Heck I'll bet you don't even know who moderates Prop Heads, because to my knowledge nothing as has ever been deleted there at all. DBT is only restricted on the Cables and Tech^2 fora, it's fair game everywhere else including Prop Heads. Tho this is supposed to be a gentler more friendly forum, I don't believe you really think Prop Heads is restricted to civil tech discussions, have you read much there?

jj can speak for himself, but I believe he left because of a lack of moderation, not because of over moderation, i.e. he felt that he was owed an apology from some who stepped over the line in his opinion. Less moderation doesn't address that issue.

Similarly SE can say whatever he wants at PropHeads without fear of moderation... Whether the mere fact that I moderate here is too much for him to take or not I can't say.

So except for name choice (which you already admit hasn't had the effect you thought it would) what is missing? (Besides participation here? :)
