I just picked up a Paradigm Subwoofer PDR10 to add to my two-channel system which consists of a Rotel RA-02 and Titan speakers. My room is pretty small. About 10 x 10 feet. I have the sub near the corner of my room. I have the crossover set at about 80 on the sub. Right now I am having trouble getting a decent bass out of the sub. The manual says that if the bass seems out of place or lost, then try reversing the polarity on the speakers cables. Meaning, connect the black to red and red to black on the back of the speakers. Well, I tried this and the bass seems to come out more. There is a definite difference. My main question is that if it's okay to actually have the polarity reveresed on your speakers? Will if effect the way music comes out of the mains? Thanks!
