Time to Terminate Inmate Central?

IC has always been kind of an "orphan" section anyhow ... listed in the "Other Stuff" section of the menu. Most people just don't know about it!
My suggestion (AGAIN!) is to kill Inmate Central, and make General Asylum a "registered inmates only" forum. Leave all the other forums open to anyone. And have a "prompt page" that comes up when you click on "General" in the Main Menu that reads approximately as follows...

"The General Asylum is open to registered AA inmates only. Unregistered visitors can read anything posted here, but cannot post messages. So if you're not registered, why not take a moment and do so right now? If you have a question or comment on a specific topic, go to the designated Forum for that topic. Registration is not required to post to the other Forums.

Making this change would give people a greater incentive to register... and would redirect a lot of newbie questions about specific topics to the appropriate sections.
