odd behavior with Navigator.....

When checking posts with Navigator 4.78 (Mac version) I get a 'broken graphic link' icon at the start of each post. This happens in both normal and threaded views. I don't get this with Explorer and there doesn't seem to be a graphic displayed anyway. Any ideas?
