Subscribe to Threads??

Is there any way to subscribe to a thread in which you haven't posted?
It would also be a handy feature for threads in which you have posted a reply, so that you can see additional replies to the original post (as opposed to only the replies to your reply.
As far as I can tell, the only way this is possible is when you are the thread originator.
Please let me know if there's a way, otherwise, please treat this as an enhancement request (apologies if this is a rerun).
