I don't understand the problem. The Asylum is about audio and it's also about a sense of community. Since the Gallery is only available to Contributing members, waste is not an issue. I'd surely agree if it was a free benefit to anyone. But that's not the case. These members have supported the Asylum financially and part of those funds have gone to provide storage for the image application, a 36GB drive to be exact and it's got plenty of space to waste.
