Howdy all
My first post. Should be nice challenge for you.
Issue: Channel imbalance, where center image "pulls" to the right. Problem is more exaggerated in stereo than in mono.
My listening room doubles as my wife's living room. Yep. Room is asymmetric in numerous ways. Stairwell to second floor on right means the corners are different distances from speakers. Electronics and subwoofer are towards left corner. Fireplace on left wall. W2W carpet.
I do have a few acoustic treatments (she does let me get away with some stuff, but I'm approaching her limit!). 1 Bass trap in each corner. Window has a cloth blind. 3 ASC Sound panels on the back wall between window and door. Another 2 on left wall behind the equipment.
Was wondering: 1) Would Sound Panels help at Reflection points? 2) Any other advice?
Attached is a pdf (hope it uploads).
Thanks in advance
Howard
