Understand that raw response is only half the story for low frequency room analysis. Ringing is just as important, but it takes more than a simple frequency analysis to see that. I use the ETF software. What do you have?

The finer the resolution, the better. So if the best you can do is 1 Hz, definitely use that.

You need to plot the level at every single frequency measured. If you measure, say, 40 Hz to 300 Hz in 1 Hz increments, you should plot all 261 points.
All of that said, you don't really need to measure anything since the solution is always the same anyway: Broadband absorption that works well to as low a frequency as possible. The main reason to measure is to assess the before / after improvement from adding bass traps.
