What % of the room should be covered with absorbers would you say?

I whole heartedly agree with you on having a live room for the performance - preferably with .5 second delay.

That is my 1st objective, the 2nd being a Hifi room for my audio setup, and lastly it will be used as a recording studio.

I will build 4 bass traps for coners, covering floor to ceiling.
I am a musician, so my ears are developed, but I do not have experience in room treatment.

I need good advices to get me to where I know is possible - I will keep tweak this 'til it gives me good results, but it would be great if I can get there from the start - hopefully with expert advices like yours.
