You need to take all absorption test data with a grain of salt. It's not well known, but lab tests can vary as much as 50 percent at 125 Hz, and even more below that. The idea of standard tests is to let consumers fairly assess different products, but in practice there are too many variables to get exact results even though all of the labs are certified and calibrated.
