Looking at your room dimensions you should be able to calculate all bass modes and find maybe a better positioning for the speaker. I had similar dropouts but was able to move the speakers by 1 1/2 feet to remove a major dropout around 60 Hz in my case.If you are looking for a good room mode calculator please look at:
Excel spreadsheat to calculate room modes
The sheat also calculates the frequency peaks and nulls at your listening position. All you need to do is enter your room dimensions and seating position and you get all the data you need. Nice way to play around with the seating position.
And one more comment: The article doesn't mention this but this table also works for a speaker placement check (just insert your speaker placement instead of the listening position). The speaker should NOT sit at a postion with frequency peaks or nulls for excitation of room modes. This calculation is one of the best ways to find a good position for speakers and to avoid excitation of room modes.
Of course any calculations are just estimates and should give you a rough idea.
Finally, as Ethan suggested, bass traps should help tremendously in getting your room in shape.
Hopefully this will help.
