Mineral Wool vs Fiber Glass

Hello All,
While reading Ethan's site on insulation and audio absorption, I noticed a statement indicating that mineral wool is essentially the same as FG. However, one can obtain 4" thick Owens Corning MW for less than 1/2 the price of equally thick 703. At what frequencies are these really the same? I would like to obtain a few panels for mid-high freq absorption, and others for mid-low.
