Kent,In a room that size and shape I'm sure you have many bass problems, and the peak at 50 Hz is probably not the most important one. In order to see the full extent you need to measure at a much finer resolution than 1/3 octave, and you also need to be able to see what's called "modal ringing" - an extended decay of only certain low frequencies over time.
The general solution for all bass problems is bass traps. Other acoustic treatment is also useful, for example absorption at the first reflection points (or optionally diffusion in larger rooms). For a good introduction to all of this, see my Acoustics FAQ HERE.
