The first is the outside of the cabinet which will be a set of reflective surfaces. Depending on location, this may cause some troublesome first reflections from the surfaces facing you, which could be dealt with by placing it in an area where it can't generate an early reflection if appearance is an issue. If appearance isn't an issue and it has to be placed where reflections will be an issue, build absorbing panels into the surfaces or place a diffusor on them.The second is the vibration issue. The cabinet walls can transmit vibration but there's no reason that the cabinet simply can't house a normal rack which doesn't contact the walls. Search in Tweakers Asylum for piles of stuff on rack construction and vibration control.
