Nice thing is

my listening room is a finished basement that is all MINE! But I still want it to look comfortable without the feeling of being in Frankenstein's lab. I like your suggestion concering the addition of a few more lenses. They are pretty easy and cheap to build so I may just go ahead and make 3 or 4 more for experimenting with.

I was listening last night and started to get the impression that I may have the front wall covered a bit too much. I say that because it seems that I need a little more volume to hear the mid to high frequencies the way I did before placing more bass traps along the front wall. So I may be breaking up the reflections too much. It could also be that this was caused by moving my listening position about 18" farther away from the speakers to clear a node at 80 Hz. The bass sounds very tight and well defined now, but I'm not sure that the higher frequencies are not suffering a bit. Before I make any big change I'll try the extra lenses. They may be just what I need to bring the highs back. I mean, they are there now but just seem abit reserved.
