Perhaps you could find a zillion dollar SET amp to power your dressing screens at the bargain basement price...Never had much use for them with my giant condenser microphones. Their efficiency requires far more power. While my 340 watt amps are sufficient, more would be better. Dr. West burns them in with his Crown Macro appliance at 800 watts. Listens to them with a pair of Parasound JC-1s. He understands when it is appropriate to use the pickup truck and when to use the sports car.
Most of us realize that most real hi fi information is there in the first WATT.
That is true with the double New Advent based garage system. The Threshold has peak reading LED output ladders that rarely top a watt or two. The amp operates pure class A under about eight watts or so.
