I'll mention that to the electrician. I of course don't know what they look for, but the electrician said that he didn't find any problems at the breaker panel. He checked some of the outlets for voltage problems and did that thing where the tester wraps around the power cords on all the cords plugged into the surge protector. No problems there. Perhaps jensw is correct by saying the sub amp is the culprit (unstable).
