I'm with you! I think it is positively ludicrous to suggest that live drums and cymbals require electronic "improving" for someone to enjoy their sound.Cymbals are among a few instruments that expose the weaknesses of Redbook digital. I find their natural sheen to be a beautiful thing very rarely ever captured on recordings.
